Why LiFePO4 for solar and off-grid?

Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) is the chemistry of choice for stationary storage: around 4000 deep cycles versus 300-500 for lead-acid, nearly 100 percent usable capacity, a flat discharge curve that keeps inverters happy, and far better thermal stability than other lithium chemistries. A 24V 100Ah Redodo battery stores 2.56kWh and delivers it at 2.56kW continuous.
