Battery suddenly reads 0V? Waking a LiFePO4 BMS from protection mode

A lithium battery that drops to 0V overnight is usually not dead – the BMS has cut output to protect the cells. Common triggers: deep discharge below cut-off, a short, a blown fuse, or a faulty solar charge controller feeding irregular voltage (we have seen this after rainy nights on balcony power stations). First rule out the externals: measure voltage directly at the battery terminals with a multimeter, then behind the fuse and at the controller – if the battery reads 0V but the controller side is live, the BMS has tripped.
To wake it, most Redodo batteries recover with a short charge pulse from a LiFePO4-compatible charger; check the fuse first and confirm the charge controller is regulating correctly before reconnecting solar.
